Season two of this investigative series opens with Emilia Fox, criminologist Professor David Wilson and ex-detective Dr Graham Hill revisiting the Templeton Woods Murders.

This documentary series recording daily life inside Woodgreen animal charity is well worth a look if you’re an animal lover.

It’s all about a team of people with a mission to find homes for abandoned dogs.

This time there's Millie and Max, a couple of Jack Russell cross pugs, a little pooch called Rex, a 13-week-old Jack Russell puppy called Albie and 'escape artist’ Lily the beagle.

Dragons' Den, 8.00pm, BBC One

Entrepreneurs Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett view another series of individuals with ideas.

This week they listen to pitches from a couple who organise social events for four-legged friends and a 29-year-old with a larger-than-life clothing business.

A married couple claim they've invented the holy grail for tall people - a decent night's sleep, while a self-proclaimed accidental CEO aims to give some dignity to those people borrowing money from friends and family.

The Apprentice, 9.00pm, BBC One

For week two, the candidates are summoned to Hutong at the Shard in Central London, where Alan Sugar reveals that they will be manufacturing bao buns.

They’re a savoury bun to punt to the public and a bespoke sweet one to sell to a corporate client, with the team who secures the biggest overall profit winning.

But things go awry as kitchen explosions and a maths meltdown lead to a grilling in the boardroom, and one candidate is sent packing.

Marie Antoinette, 9.00pm, BBC Two

The period drama, starring Emilia Schüle, continues.

I was expecting more from this, but it’s passably entertaining.

The royal family holidays at Fontainebleau, an escape from stifling Versailles. Marie's hostilities with du Barry threaten to sour things with the King.

Now the heir is wed, the 'spare', Provence, needs a wife. His aunts vie against du Barry over the choice. The danger is that the newcomer could conceive the future king if Marie fails.

Britain’s Notorious Prisons: Strangeways, 9.00pm, UTV/ITV

Featuring first-hand testimony from past inmates and staff, this documentary tells the truth about life behind the walls of Manchester's Strangeways Prison.

It’s one of Britain's most notorious jails and even got a namecheck on a Smiths’ album.

It includes the story of the most brutal riot in UK history, when the inmates took over.

David Morrissey – no relation of the former Smiths’ singer of the same surname - narrates.

Céim Chun Cinn, 8.00pm, TG4

A lot of people feel that their university years are some of the best of their lives.

This series follows four students in four different universities to gain insight into the challenges and benefits of college life.

Naoise begins his college journey in Limerick, while Darragh returns to Cork for his final year after a long year at home.

Meanwhile Clodagh continues with her cycling training regardless of weather or traffic, while Anna talks about the #misefosta campaign and consent in NUIG.
