Here’s a festive celebrity special of the TV contest that’s only for the toughest of families.
TV presenter Glenda Gilson, comedian Emma Doran, social media star Tadgh Fleming and broadcaster Blathnaid Treacy bring their families to compete for the title
It’s all in the name of charity, with the winners aiming to pick up a welcome € 10,000 for the charity of their choice.
The Repair Shop Christmas Special, 8.00pm, BBC One
More feelgood TV as Jay Blades (below, left, with Craig Revel Horwood) and the team conjure up the magic of Christmases past to fix five festive items.
Will Kirk and Dominic Chinea restore a 1960s home bar that once formed the cornerstone of family Christmas parties.
Steve Fletcher and Kirsten Ramsay turn their attention to a bedraggled Christmas tree, while Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell get the stuffing started on a toy Santa decoration.
Mark Stuckey is tasked with breathing new life into an old projector, and Pete Woods takes on a battered trombone which brings back fond memories of a lost father.
The Greatest Snowman 2022, 7.30pm, Channel 4
Sue Perkins (below) returns for a second outing of the seasonal challenge in which a group of celebrities make their way to a snowy mountain top to compete in an epic snow sculpture competition.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who competed last year, is also back, but this time he is on hand to offer artistic advice to the hopefuls.
Meanwhile the competitors' efforts will be judged by Swedish sculpting sisters Sara and Emilie Steele and renowned British artist Taslim Martin.
The Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2022, 9.00pm, Channel 4
The annual year-end quiz, hosted by Jimmy Carr (below) is a fun way to unwind at the end of St Stephen’s Day.
Stephen Merchant, Katherine Ryan, Richard Ayoade, Maisie Adam, Jonathan Ross and Rose Matafeo are quizzed on the strange events of 2022.
As ever, Charles Dance, Jon Snow and the children of Mitchell Brook Primary School are on hand to help Jimmy pose his questions.
