Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, The Banshees of Inisherin follows lifelong friends Pádraic (Farrell) and Colm (Gleeson), who find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly puts an end to their friendship.

A stunned Pádraic, aided by his sister Siobhán and troubled young islander Dominic, endeavours to repair the relationship, refusing to take no for an answer.

But Pádraic's repeated efforts only strengthen his former friend’s resolve and when Colm delivers a desperate ultimatum, events swiftly escalate, with shocking consequences.

Emily in Paris: Season 3, Netflix

Lily Collins returns for a new run of the fluffy dramedy about the eponymous Emily, who swaps life in the USA for the French capital.

One year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life.

Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie - at work and in her romantic life - and what those decisions mean for her future in France.

Meanwhile she’s continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.

Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, 9.00pm, Channel 4

This is a dramatic recreation of the sensational Wagatha Christie trial - one of the most extraordinary libel cases ever to be brought before London’s High Court.

Two footballers' wives (aka WAGs) and former friends came to blows, with Rebekah Vardy trying to sue Coleen Rooney for defamation.

The origins of the dispute lay in a 2019 tweet in which Rooney publicly accused Vardy of selling stories to the press about her.

The cast includes Natalia Tena, Chanel Cresswell and Michael Sheen.

Woodgreen Pets Charity continue their mission to home abandoned dogs in time for Christmas.

Fox terrier Ziggy, known for her escape attempts, tries her best to steal the hearts of the Thompson family. Winston the smiley Staffie-cross puts on the charm to win over some potential adopters and Emori the three-legged German Shepherd is introduced to retiree Pauline.
