The Irish Civil War, 9.35pm, RTÉ One
Here’s the final episode of the three-part documentary telling the epic and often challenging story of the origins, conflict and legacy of the civil war that took place in Ireland in 1922 and 1923.
Written and directed by Ruán Magan, the series’ aim was to go to the heart of this history, telling it straight, teasing out the nuances and complexities, generating unprejudiced, compelling and challenging documentaries that may serve as a suitable commemoration of those troubled years.
As in the previous two episodes, Brendan Gleeson narrates.

Cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff (below) and comedian Jason Manford embark on an extreme wild camping adventure in the Welsh Wilderness.
They’ll be pitching their tent in stunning locations including the Snowdonia National Park, the port of Holyhead and Ruthin.
As the two men also abseil down and sleep overnight on the side of a cliff, the pair look to keep themselves occupied on their travels, and this in spite of a complete lack of survival skills.

It’s down to the last four, beginning with Argentina v Croatia (Kick-off 7pm).
Joanne Cantwell presents coverage of the first semi-final, which takes place at Lusail Stadium.
Both of these countries won their quarter-finals on Friday in penalty shootouts, with Croatia defeating heavy tournament favourites Brazil and Argentina overcoming Netherlands.
Many pundits are tipping Argentina to go all the way, with the talismanic Lionel Messi chasing the one trophy that has eluded him in his career.
However, Croatia are aiming for their second successive appearance in the World Cup final, and will certainly be no pushovers here, with the likes of Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic, Dejan Lovren and Marcelo Brozovic all boasting experience of that famous 2018 run.
