Clyde-built (made to last!)
Who are your musical inspirations?
Marvin, Bruce, Talking Heads, John Grant, Arlo Parks.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The Who in 1972 at Glasgow's Green Playhouse (renamed the 'legendary’ Apollo). It was the Who’s Next Tour, which featured synth watershed tune Baba O’Reilly.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Sugar Sugar by The Archies.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Black Dog by Arlo Parks.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Leaving the home of a lifetime, I learn as I go to fall laughing into the water" - a line of Robert Bell’s from Rags To Riches by The Blue Nile.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Racing In The Streets by Bruce Springsteen.

What we hear is what you get! Local support has been great . Radio Scotland has our second All That You Wanted as their Single of The Week, and we’re delighted to be getting the same love in Ireland that The Blue Nile enjoyed, with plays from Fiachna Ó Braonáin on RTÉ Radio 1.
