Behind the music - Daniel Cohen

Daniel Cohen
Daniel Cohen

Galway singer Daniel Cohen has released his new single, Cosmic Collisions. We asked him the BIG questions . . .

Daniel started writing music in his teens and was part of a semi-successful Irish rock band for many years.

After the demise of the band, Daniel worked as an independent music producer for over a decade in the USA, Sweden, and Spain but his own dream of being a pop artist never died, and in 2022 he decided to give it a shot.

He released his debut single, Will You Ride With Me Tonight? He followed that with a cover of Diana Ross's 1985 hit Chain Reaction.

Daniel’s third single, Cosmic Collision, was written as an engagement song to ask his partner for her hand in marriage this Christmas.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I am from Galway and have working in music for many years. I played bass in my own band for many years. I believe I have the talent and ambition to go all the way.
