Dermot Kennedy has announced another date for his UK/Ireland tour next summer Friday 7th July at Thomond Park, Limerick.

The Outnumbered singer had previously announced that he would play two nights in Dublin's Marlay Park on June 23rd and 24 June.

Next March, the Without Fear artist will embark on his biggest ever UK tour, starting in Glasgow on March 31st 2023, travelling across the UK performing to over 120,000 fans.

The Dublin-born musician returned to his busking roots on Grafton Street to launch his new album Sonder earlier this week.

It's been over ten years since the Rathcoole native played for the well-heeled shoppers on Dublin's most famous retail street, but Kennedy's smile lit up the dark night sky as on Tuesday evening as he played for the large crowd that gathered to watch him perform.

Delighted to be returning to his old stomping ground, Kennedy told his social media followers that playing on the balcony of Bewley's Café was "something I will NEVER forget".

He added: "My hometown and my heart. Once in a lifetime feeling."

Tickets go on sale this Friday 2 December at 9am.
