Comedian and musician Tim Minchin reunites with House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock for the second season of the critically acclaimed odd-couple comedy.

But he’s an emotional mess and a problem drinker, and his erratic behaviour is making his TV star girlfriend’s life much more complicated.

You Won’t Believe This, 10.00pm, Channel 4

The premise of this new show looks daft enough to work.

Ellie Taylor (above) hosts an interrogation game show for amateur sleuths who have to prove that they can figure out fact from fiction and find the guilty party.

Using tactics deployed on criminals, the contestants grill the suspects. If they spot the truth they win a cash prize - but should they choose a fibber, then the suspect takes the money.

The Great British Bake Off, 8.00pm, Channel 4

The first of two highlight programmes celebrating 10 years of the hugely popular culinary contest.

This episode features some of the most unusual, confusing and innuendo-laden cakes to grace the tent.

The programme also revisits some of the most popular contestants from past series, including Norman, Flo and Kim-Joy.

World’s Most Evil Killers, 9.00pm, Sky Crime

Returning for a seventh series of case files from the world’s most heinous murder cases, we begin this series with the American serial killer and rapist Jorge Avila Torrez.

Torrez assaulted, killed and mutilated the bodies of two young girls in his hometown of Zion, Illinois, but was not immediately connected to the crime by law enforcement.

Joining the Marines to evade suspicion, Torrez would murder again and carry out more rapes before he would be arrested and linked back to the now five-year old double murder.
