Rock legend Bruce Springsteen has said he and his band feel "a great warmth" when they visit Ireland and admits "it is completely appreciated" by himself and his group.
Speaking to Brendan O'Connor on RTÉ Radio 1, the 73-year-old singer said: "I feel a great warmth there - our Irish audience is a very, very special audience to us. They have given us such a tremendous home in Ireland.
"It is completely appreciated by myself and the band. We love coming to Ireland," he said.

The Boss has been known to enjoy a pint in Dublin establishments The Long Hall on Great George's Street and O'Donoghue’s on Baggot Street.
"I have my little stops that I like to make," he said. "It's pretty cool that when I go everybody says 'Hi' and buys me a drink. Then I get my fish and chips - and stop here and there - and have a great time. I love it!"
O'Connor joked that it should be Springsteen buying drinks for his fans.
"It's true! I'll have to remember that," laughed the Born in the USA hitmaker.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to play three shows at the RDS Arena in Dublin next May.
