Kasabian have been forced to cancel their show in the Olympia in Dublin tonight after front man Serge Pizzorno was diagnosed with laryngitis.

In a statement released by the band on Twitter they said, "We have bad news re tonight's Dublin gig. Serge has been diagnosed with laryngitis this afternoon and we can’t go ahead.

The Leicester band played the Telegraph Building, Belfast last night and the Dublin gig was to be their first show in the capital in five years.
They released of their seventh album The Alchemist's Euphoria last August.
