Super Bowl LVII will take place on Sunday 12 February 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The singer had tweeted a photo of her holding an NFL football, and broadcaster Fox later confirmed that she would be headlining.

US entertainment trade website Deadline reports that Rihanna will join a list of recent Super Bowl performers that includes The Weeknd; Jennifer Lopez and Shakira; Maroon 5 with Big Boi and Travis Scott; Lady Gaga; Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson; and Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott.
