RTÉ News broadcaster Caitríona Perry has welcomed her second child, a baby boy.
The news anchor and journalist confirmed the lovely news with her social media followers, writing on Instagram: "Some #goodnews …Delighted to announce the arrival of a beautiful baby boy.
Perry, who also has a three-year-old daughter, added: "Thanks to the wonderful doctors and midwives for ensuring his safe arrival. On #matleave now but will be #backsoon #rtenews #sixone
"Thanks for all the well wishes and queries."
There was a flood of well-wishes under the post, including one from Miriam O'Callaghan who wrote: "Wonderful news - congratulations Caitriona to you all"
Maia Dunphy added: "Oh Caitriona! What lovely news! Congratulations to you all".
