Disney and Pixar have announced that the movie Inside Out 2 is currently in development and will be in cinemas in the summer of 2024.
Inside Out star Amy Poehler has announced that she will return for the Pixar sequel, which will focus on teenage character Riley's emotions.

Other announcements on the first day of the 2022 D23 convention in Anaheim, California on Friday included upcoming projects Peter and Wendy, MUFASA, a live-action Snow White, Win or Lose, Wish, Strange World, Iwaju and ELIO.

Peter and Wendy is a live-action adaptation of Peter Pan, focussing on how Peter Pan and Wendy met. It will be streamed on Disney+ in 2023.

Attendees saw footage from the live-action The Little Mermaid. It stars Halle Bailey in the lead role of Ariel and will be in cinemas next May.

The brand gave a first-look at Pixar's new original animated series, Win or Lose, which will be available on Disney+ in 2023 and centres around students on a softball team.

Pixar and Disney's ELIO is about a boy who is transported to another galaxy. It stars Yonas Kibreab as Elio and America Ferrera as his mother, Olga Solis. It will be in cinemas in the spring of 2024.
