Special Forces - Ultimate Hell Week, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Twenty celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment take on the army training challenge and are put through a gruelling special forces selection course.

The recruits are David Gillick, Fiona O'Caroll, Peter Finn, Billy Holland, Luke Thomas, Aisling Daly, Setanta Ó hAilpín, Oisin Murphy, Johnny Ward, Blathnaid Treacy.

Blimey. Had to pause for a breath there.

The rest of the recruits are Pamela Uba, Eric Donovan, Paul Ryder, Eoin Cadogan, Rebecccah O'Rourke, Boidu Sayeh, Fergus McFadden, Tadhg Fleming, Ciara Griffin and Michael McKiliop.

The Repair Shop, 8.00pm, BBC One

Jay Blades hosts as the team restores an Olympic torch brought in by retired British gymnast Greg Silvester.

He’s won numerous medals at Special Olympics events over the course of his career, and was chosen to carry the Olympic torch as part of the build-up to the Sydney Games.

They also work on a beloved stuffed toy cat, a broken jukebox and an enormous colourful sign salvaged by a local community in Scotland.

New or Returning Shows

Neven's Portuguese Food Trails, 8.30pm, RTÉ One

Neven Maguire goes on a culinary journey around Portugal, beginning in the Algarve, where goes fishing for razor clams, and also visits the Estaminé restaurant to meet owner and manager Isabel Vincente.

Neven then takes a boat trip to spot dolphins and heads to Porches Pottery, which was set up in 1968 by Irish artist Patrick Swift to maintain the tradition of Portuguese pottery.

Mary Berry: Cook and Share, 8.00pm, BBC Two

The bould Mary journeys to some of the places closest to her heart, sharing memories from her past and creating new ones, while inspiring those she meets along the way with delicious recipes.

In this episode, Mary works behind the scenes at an Indian wedding, helping the caterers pull-off a huge event that feeds 400 people from morning to night, and adding a recipe of her own to the menu.

Blown away by the traditions, customs and vibrancy of the wedding, Mary takes time to reflect on her own special day.

Nadiya’s Everyday Baking, 8.30pm, BBC Two

Nadiya Hussain provides the inspiration to bring the joy of baking into everyday lives, and celebrates bakers across Britain, shining a light on their favourite bakes.

She begins with treats for an easy Afternoon Tea, from striped meringue lollipops to coffee cake with dalgona coffee cream and dreamy butterscotch cheesecake bars, and meets Mina Said-Allsopp, who shares her secrets to a gluten-free chocolate sourdough.

Doc Martin, 9.00pm, UTV/ITV

Return of the popular comedy drama, starring Martin Clunes, for a tenth season. It's also the final run.

After having his career scrutinised by the UK’s General Medical Council because of his blood phobia, Martin makes efforts to overcome his fear and begins to question whether he made the right decision about resigning.

Back for more and wilder than ever, the dramedy returns with a vengeance for a fourth season.

With all the Brassic gang back in Hawley, trouble is never very far away as Vinnie, Erin, Tommo, Dylan, Ashley, JJ, Cardi, Carol, Sugar, Jim, and Dr Chris mastermind criminal plans that usually end up in total chaos.

In the opening episode, It's Ringo and Babs’ wedding - in deepest Wales!

Erin is still in hiding, but on discovering her whereabouts, Vinnie uses the road trip as an excuse to go and get her.

He also gets roped into helping Bride-to-be Babs bag a final extra-marital fling.

As the gang set off on their road trip, it’s soon clear that if things can go wrong, they most certainly will.

Ar Iarraidh Kingsley Porter, 9.30pm, TG4

In 1933, the Harvard Professor Arthur Kingsley Porter went missing after spending the night on the small Donegal Gaeltacht island of Inishbofin.

He went out for a walk and was never seen again. His body was never found. What happened to the American Millionaire? Did he fall from the cliffs on the island? Did he take his own life?

Or, like many locals believe, did he escape to start a new life elsewhere?

In this programme, Kevin Magee investigates the story to find out if there is any new information which can shed light on this mystery which has endured for 90 years.
