How would you describe your music?

My music is one of two things - either it's introspective, or it’s escapism. I mostly write melodic ballads, and every now and then I try to write really upbeat pop songs.

Who are your musical inspirations?

When I was 18, I listened to the Beatles a lot. Like, all the time. So, they’re a huge inspiration. Nowadays, I really like Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Mac DeMarco, and even hip-hop outfits like Kanye West. I find myself exploring new sounds which definitely reflects in my current work.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

I think it may have been when the RTÉ Concert Orchestra played the soundtrack of the second Lord of The Rings film. It was in O2 in Dublin. The Fellowship of The Ring and The Two Towers played on screen, and the orchestra played the musical backdrop, it was actually amazing.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, it all started there for me

What’s your favourite song right now?

For most of the summer, I’ve been listening to Harry Styles’ new album. As It Was is a banger.

Favourite lyric of all time?

Hard to say. But I recently discovered Jack White for myself, and I love his song We’re Going to Be Friends. It’s such a perfect illustration of childhood innocence and fun. 'Walk with me, Suzy Lee, Through the park and by the tree, We will rest upon the ground and look at all the bugs we’ve found, Safely walk to school without a sound, Safely walk to school without a sound’.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Another tough one, but recently I’ve found Life of The Party by Kanye West to be a very otherworldly, so I reckon that would keep my attention.

Where can people find your music/more information?

You can find me on my socials! I’m most active on Instagram, but I do post on Facebook and TikTok as well. Of course, you can stream music on Apple Music and Spotify as well!
