Galway's Seba Safe has released his new five-track EP, Before I Remember You. We asked him the BIG questions . . .
It follows recent single Spitfire, Oscars, I’m On Fire and new single Spitfire, which the singer says is about moving away from your past.
"This song is about moving on and not beating yourself up about things in your past you cannot change. It deals with belonging and purpose."

Tell us three things about yourself?
My real name is Mike D’Alton, I’m from Portumna Co. Galway, I’ve recently started surfing I’m still terrible, but I love it.
How would you describe your music?
Pop indie folk with a hint of Irishness.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Josh Ritter, Andy Hull, Joni Mitchell, Big Thief, Jose Gonzalez.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Paul Brady. That man is a genius.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Back in Black by AC/DC.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Quite Like You by Andy Shauf.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"I could drink a case of you and I’d still be on my feet" - Joni Mitchell.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This changes regularly but a go to of mine is Jose Gonzales version of Hearbeats by The Knife.
