Favourites Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti have been crowned the winners of Love Island 2022.
Upon hearing they had won from host Laura Whitmore, Ekin-Su burst into tears while Davide gasped and said "I can't believe it" before they embraced their fellow finalists.
The Turkish actress from Essex, 27, and Italian business owner, also 27, won over viewers with their fiery but passionate relationship that spanned most of the series.
The couple will share £50,000 from their time in the villa. In a twist, ITV this year scrapped the option for one of the winning couple to 'steal' all of the prize money for themselves.
Davide and Ekin-Su arrived in the Love Island villa on day one and day three, respectively. Despite an initial attraction, they suffered a rocky relationship in the early days.
However, they later became inseparable and dubbed themselves the "Italian snack" and "Turkish delight", eventually professing their love for each other.
Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished in second place. They said they "can't wait to start a new chapter" together.
Irish contestant Dami Hope and his partner Indiyah Polack secured third place, with the Dublin resident telling host Whitmore the experience of being on the show felt "like a movie".
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page came in fourth place. They said they are looking to move in together.
ITV has announced there will be two series of the show in 2023 - a winter series in South Africa and a summer series in Majorca.
