Last night’s opening episode of this three-part thriller was pretty impressive. Even if you missed it, take a look at The Control Room tonight.
As the tale develops, emergency call handler Gabe - an excellent Iain De Caestecker - is blackmailed into further criminal behaviour by Anthony, who offers to keep his secret if he delivers a parcel to Kelvingrove museum.
In order to escape the nightmare of the present, Gabe has to confront his past, reflecting on the events surrounding his mother's funeral.

Francis and John Brennan (above) head south to lend their help to Alan and Grace Skehan, who own a busy holiday resort Dunmore East, county Waterford.
This facility consists of a large mobile home park, self-catering houses, a nine-hole golf course and a restaurant and bar.
Despite their workload Alan and Grace think big and want the Brennans' advice about their ambitious plan to build luxury lodges and to extend the resort further.

Here’s a British cold war spy thriller television series set in 1963, at the height of the Cold War.
Written by John Hodge and directed by James Watkins, it stars Joe Cole, Lucy Boynton and Tom Hollander. Harry Palmer, a British army sergeant turned black market hustler, is a man on the make in Berlin.
But when the law catches up with him, everything comes crashing to a halt. Well, until a gentleman from British intelligence has a proposal for Palmer.
To avoid jail, Harry will have to become a spy.
Super Surgeons: A Chance of Life, 10.00pm, Channel 4
Documentary following pioneering surgeons at Royal Marsden Hospital as they face some of the most complex and challenging oncological cases in the world.
In the first episode, a surgical robot is used to treat a tumour on a patient's voice box, in a procedure that has never been attempted before.
Other surgeons must perform a complex procedure to try to save a photographer's arm, and remove new cancer growth in a patient's abdomen.

This documentary follows three families who are determined to break the 500-year-old curse of Emperor Montezuma and find the hidden treasure.
According to legend, Montezuma hid an abundance of gold bars, silver, precious stones, jewellery and other Aztec artifacts in various locations around Southwest America.
The series will intercut each family’s epic adventure as they search for the Seven Cities of Gold.
They’ll be journeying through multiple states to search three different properties – the Dillmans in Utah, the Hoaglands in Nevada and the Villescases in New Mexico.
