Westlife and their fans were in fine voice at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Friday night as the pop supergroup led the crowd in a giant singsong of their biggest hits - along with a few twists.
Tens of thousands of fans were in the mood to party as Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan took to the stage to rapturous cheering and applause, kicking off the show with their hit Starlight.
With a back catalogue spanning almost 23 years and having performed to millions across the globe, Westlife certainly know how to put on a show for their fans and then some.
Four costume changes, fireworks, pyrotechnics, laser lights, a live band, and giant screens ensured everyone saw the lads up close and personal as they gave each of their hits the stadium treatment.
The hits started rolling with a lively rendition of Up Town Girl followed by World of Our Own, which saw the boys make there way up and down the giant ramp that stretched halfway down the pitch while the audience waved their hands wildly.
Taking a moment to soak in the jubilant atmosphere, Filan told the crowd: "We're very very happy to be kicking off our biggest show here in Dublin. It's incredible. We've had a lot of number ones thanks to you guys.
"It, it is so good to hear that noise after three years. It is so good to see people hugging and dancing and being together after last three years."
The fans were then treated to a Fool Again, If I Let You Go and My Love followed by Egan telling the crowd that the night was about "pure fun".
He said: "It's a very special night as we have all been waiting a full three years for this very special night, Westlife back home in Dublin Ireland.
"We all know the last three years have been a little bit crazy but lets put that in the past and make sure tonight is about pure fun."
"To think that this band has been together for nearly 23 years - here we are selling out the Aviva stadium."
After belting out I'm Never Going To Say Goodbye the foursome disappeared for a costume change.
They reappeared moments later storming into a nine-song ABBA medley. Any last seated straggler soon joined in the giant dance party as Westlife sang their way some of the Swedish group's biggest hits including Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A Man After Midnight, Take A Chance On Me, Waterloo and Dancing Queen.
Another costume change set them up for What About Now and Mandy with an emotional Byrne then telling the crowd: "I see so many flags from around the world which makes us feel so so proud to be Irish standing here in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. 23 years since we started and the reason we are still doing it, the reason we are still around... is you."
As the sun set on a balmy Dublin evening, phone torches lit up the stadium and the crowd joined Egan, Byrne, Filan and Feehily to sing What Makes A Man, followed by a rousing rendition of Unbreakable.
The super pop song World Of Our Own was up next and once again the crowd happily danced along while Westlife lapped up every lyric that was sung back to them.
It was then time for a soaring rendition of Flying Without Wings before a high-energy encore of Hello My Love followed by a You Raise Me Up, which ended with the band in a group hug draped in the tricolour.
For Westlife fans it was the ultimate trip down memory lane, for pop fans it was pure magic, and for anyone else - it was a great night out!
