Ronan Keating's son Jack is among the six new male contestants to arrive in the Casa Amor villa on Love Island.
The second villa has been a staple in the show's previous years and is notorious for often providing temptation and subsequent drama among the islanders.
Twenty-three-year-old Jack Keating, who works in social media marketing, said his singer father is "buzzing" about him taking part in the reality show. His mother is presenter and model Yvonne Connolly.
When asked why he had signed up to take part in the series, Jack Keating replied: 'I've been single for a long time - probably four or five years now - and I've really been missing that spark that I haven't been getting on the dating scene. Like, I've been dating for a long time.
"And I just thought, 'Why not?' Hopefully, I'll get a connection with somebody and see what happens."
Keating's fellow Dubliner Dami Hope is also among this year's Love Island hopefuls.
Friday night's show saw the double dumping of Charlie Radnedge and Antigoni Buxton by their fellow contestants.
Love Island continues on Virgin Media Two and ITV2.
