Who Do You Think You Are? 9.00pm, BBC One

Actress Anna Maxwell Martin researches her family tree – which brings her to her ancestral home in Ireland.

Travelling to the small town in Northern Ireland where her father grew up, her understanding of her grandparents - who suffered a heartbreaking family tragedy - is turned on its head.

On her mother's side, Anna starts with her grandfather Maxwell, whose name she added to her own to create her stage name.

Looking into his childhood, she uncovers a dark history of domestic abuse and family separation.

She also discovers extraordinary familial solidarity and love that changed the pattern for the generations that followed.

This week, Suzanne Jackson (above) is joined by guest counsellor Eileen Smith to give a fashion makeover to 59-year-old special needs assistant Gillian Gavin from Rush in county Dublin.

Suzanne and Eileen help her to get out of the safe leggings and jumpers and into some professional smart workwear, while helping her to find gorgeous outfits for the new chapter in her life.

Here’s a welcome Arena repeat as part of BBC Four’s Thursday night trips to Tinseltown.

It’s a documentary focusing on the female stars of the Hollywood studio era, from its beginnings around 1910 through to its collapse in the early 1960s.

Hepburn plays a prim missionary who is forced to flee her home in German East Africa at the outbreak of the First World War.

The only transport available comes courtesy of a gin-sodden riverboat captain (Bogart, of course), and as the bickering and unlikely travelling companions make their perilous journey, she persuades him to aid the British war effort.

It's been three years, but the much-loved Glastonbury Festival is back.

Lauren Laverne (above) and Jack Saunders welcome viewers to Worthy Farm in Somerset, where, for the first time, they broadcast live from site on a Thursday night.

Taskmaster, 9.00pm, Channel 4

The Taskmaster champions from series six to 10 return to the scene of the greatest triumph of their lives, as they battle to become the second Champion of Champions.

The expectations of Taskmaster Greg Davies (above) are sky high as he watches Ed Gamble destroying a bath toy, Kerry Godliman rolling a bobbin, Liza Tarbuck avoiding low-flying bananas, Lou Sanders painting on skates and Richard Herring revealing his bare feet.
