The Saturday Game Live, 1.15pm, RTÉ One

It's hurling on the double as the championship heads into the last-eight phase and players are getting within touching distance of the Liam McCarthy Cup.

First up is Galway v Cork (throw-in 1.45pm). Jacqui Hurley presents coverage of thee All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final from Semple Stadium (below), with commentary by Garry MacDonncha and Pat Fluery.

That’s followed by Clare v Wexford (throw-in 3.45pm). Jacqui Hurley remains in the hosting chair for coverage of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final, also from Semple Stadium.

At this stage last year, Cork overcame Dublin and Waterford defeated Tipperary to set up semi-final meetings with Cork and Limerick respectively.

A welcome repeat of this compilation of TV appearances from the musician's half-century long post-Beatles career.

As the festival continues, Saturday will see indie-rockers Kasabian headline the main stage while superstar DJ Pete Tong and The Heritage Orchestra present a set of Ibiza Classics.

Later - with Jools Holland, 10.40pm, BBC Two

The hreadline act joining Jools at the Alexandra Palace Theatre in north London is indie rock band Florence and the Machine.

Also on the bill, singer and rapper Jamie T, alt-rockers the Mysterines, R'n'B musician Kamal Kamal and multi-instrumentalist and producer Deyaz.

There are more hand-picked classic performances from the Later archives, and Jools chats to Florence Welch and Jamie T.

Stereophonics Live in Cardiff: We'll Keep a Welcome, 8.40pm, BBC Two

Live from Cardiff's Principality stadium, in front of a sold-out crowd of 75,000, the Stereophonics headline a day of Welsh music for a huge homecoming show.

Naturally, they'll playing some of their biggest hits including Dakota, Have a Nice Day, and their cover of Handbags and Gladrags.
