Prime Time Climate Special, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

This climate change special explores issues around the energy, "greenwashing" and considers sustainable living in a special programme presented by Miriam O'Callaghan and Sarah McInerny.

It also puts the spotlight on Ireland’s role in reaching net zero by 2050 and 51% reductions of emissions by the end of this decade.

The programme will include discussion on energy transition and will take a special look at how companies make their 'green’ claims and a report on sustainable living.

In this new series, chef Nico Reynolds fires up the grill and introduces viewers to some incredible flavour combinations that every home cook can attempt either on the BBQ or in the kitchen.

The six-part show is all about explaining the skills, tips and recipes to up your grilling game and barbecue like a professional.

Nico is a firm believer that anything you can cook inside, you can cook outside - only better.

In this opening episode, he begins with a crushed pork and pineapple burger with shredded slaw, a versatile jerk seasoning for meat or vegetables, and grilled steak tacos with a hot sauce.

The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe, 9.45pm, Virgin Media More

Eddie Marsan stars in this four-parter based on a bizarre true story.

It tells the story of John and Anne Darwin, a couple plagued by debt and growing increasingly to find a solution.

Facing bankruptcy, John decides to fake his own death using his canoe, much to the horror of his wife.

They successfully pull it off and John goes into hiding while Anne consoles her sons.

Time and Again, 10.00pm, BBC Four

This is a short romantic drama, starring Siân Phillips and Brigit Forsyth, part of a string of Pride viewing tonight on BBC Four.

Two women, Eleanor and Isabelle, meet again 60 years after they ended their relationship because of societal pressure.

They explore whether they have an unexpected chance to make peace in the winter of their lives.
