This week, the focus is on travel and transport along the river, with historian Donal Fallon revealing some of the Liffey's most famous bridges - and some of the forgotten ones.
Blessington-based Jim Schofield takes the first steps on a solo transatlantic voyage in a boat he built himself, while three generations of female rowers carry on the tradition of skiff rowing in the choppy waters of the Liffey as it ventures out to the sea.

Here’s the first of a two-part stage play based on verbatim evidence from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, originally performed at The Tabernacle, where it was also filmed, and Birmingham Rep.
The production sets out to discover why the devastating fire of 14 June 2017 happened after the refurbishment of Grenfell Tower, and who was responsible for the deaths of 72 people.
With an introduction by Channel 4 news presenter Jon Snow.
The Fifteen Billion Pound Railway: Inside the Elizabeth Line, 8.00pm, BBC Two
The return of the documentary series following the building of Crossrail, charting the race to fix the railway's hi-tech software and systems so that the new line would be open in time for the Platinum Jubilee.
For more than 10 years, cameras have followed the engineers, technicians and transport staff under pressure to deliver their section of the cross-London project.
They include construction fixes in the tunnels, safety checks of the stations and the testing of the complex, bug-ridden train software, all in a bid to make it safe for passengers.

What Killed the Whale? 9.00pm, Channel 4
Biologist Ella Al-Shamahi investigates the rise in whale strandings along the UK coastline, joining the team performing an autopsy on a 40-foot sei whale washed up near Edinburgh.
Throughout the post-mortem, the team reveal clues about what killed the creature, in an attempt to uncover why whales have been dying in such record numbers and find pioneering solutions that could still save them.

Pretty standard biopic starring Felicity Jones, with Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux and Kathy Bates that should wind down your Sunday night.
It's the story of lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg, showing how she faced adversity and numerous obstacles in her fight for equal rights throughout her career, which culminated in her becoming a member of the Supreme Court of the United States.
