Electro pop singer Natalie Moran has released her new single Ain't Nothing Gonna Stop. We asked her the BIG questions . . .
Tell us three things about yourself?
I am a singer-songwriter who loves organising events both social and corporate. At Christmas I fostered an eight-year-old Labrador which was supposed to be for two weeks but now she is a permanent member of the household and always first to hear a new track before it releases. When I was a kid I landed a role in a play to dress up as a giant cornetto and sing Just One Cornetto by Count Giovanni di Regina!
How would you describe your music?
My favourite writing styles are electro pop and acoustic. Sometimes I am ready to be uplifted with a blast of energetic sounds and other times I am looking to connect to a calming feeling, because of this I have a portfolio of energetic pop songs and some softer acoustic songs. The consistent element of my music I always aim for is writing catchy hooks and meaningful relatable lyrics whether I've produced the songs with electronic beats or created it with a simple gentle strum of an instrument.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Ed Sheeran, Adele, Lewis Capaldi, Bruno Mars, James Blunt, Shania Twain, Westlife, Gavin James, Amy Winehouse, Motown style - like all of it, wowza those people can SING!
What was the first gig you ever went to and the first record you ever bought/downloaded?
My first concert was a family favourite which was Westlife. I have probably gone to the majority of their Irish concerts since. My first record bought was Shania Twain. When she says "let's go, girls!" I am immediately ready for some dancing.
What's your favourite song right now?
I am currently loving the feelgood anthems so it has to be Lizzo's About Damn Time.
Favourite lyric of all time?
I recently fell in love with a lyric from A Thousand Years by Christina Perri which goes "And all along I believed I would find you, Time has brought your heart to me". The lyrics remind me that the only thing between you and your next great find or event is a matter of time. Pretty cool when you think about it, actually I think I'll go write a song about this now.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Valerie by Amy Winehouse which always brings me back to one of my early times on stage that made me fall in love with music and performing. Plus, you can play it almost anywhere and get everyone going!
Where can people find your music/more information?

I'm across all socials! The best platforms to find me on to stay informed with regular updates is Instagram @natsplatxo and Facebook @nataliemoranmusic.
