Presented by Philip Boucher-Hayes and Anna Daly, Hospital Live is a live TV event capturing the lives of healthcare workers and patients.
It features cutting edge surgery and showcasing Ireland’s incredible medical innovations and breakthroughs – seeking to imagine what our health and healthcare might look like into the future.
The programme will air across three days between today and Thursday. It’s an ambitious and timely exploration, and illumination of the lives of the staff, patients and medical innovators on the frontline of Irish medicine.
It will go behind the headlines of a system that’s been under incredible pressure over the last two years during Covid lockdowns – but that remains a system we all rely upon.

After a night out celebrating a promotion, she gets accused of sleeping with 15-year-old Kyle Hope, one of her pupils.
Gentleman Jack Changed My Life, 11.15pm, BBC One
Miriam Margolyes (below) narrates this documentary telling the stories of six British women who rediscovered their sexuality, came out to their families and rekindled long-lost love affairs after watching the BBC One drama Gentleman Jack.
They include Yvonne, who is in her 60s and only realised she was gay after watching the show, and Chichi, 22, who came out to her parents after seeing the drama and is now preparing to tell her grandparents.
The women's stories are interwoven with behind-the-scenes footage from the drama, and insight from stars Suranne Jones and Sophie Rundle, as well as series writer Sally Wainwright.
Liam Gallagher: 48 Hours at Rockfield, 9.00pm, Sky Arts
This is a documentary following the singer Liam Gallagher (above) as he spends time at Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire with his sons Lennon and Gene, and performs tracks from new album C'Mon You Know.

Bake Off: The Professionals, 8.00pm, Channel 4
Liam Charles and new-co-host Stacey Solomon present the return of the baking challenge with knobs on, as patisserie teams from Manchester, Cumbria, Wiltshire, Birmingham and London compete to be crowned the best in Britain.
To kick things off, no-nonsense judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden set the pastry chefs a challenge to create 36 individual strawberry cakes and a chocolate sculpture, with no recipe to work from.
For their showpiece, they are tasked to transform an ordinary treacle tart into a fine dining experience.

Ricky Gervais: SuperNature, Netflix
The new special is the second Ricky Gervais has produced exclusively for Netflix.
This one was filmed last year as Gervais performed his SuperNature set at locations around Europe and in the UK such as the London Palladium, the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, and the SSE Arena at Wembley.
It’s been reported that SuperNature was the biggest comedy tour in 2021 grossing over $30 million in ticket sales.
