Polly Barrett has released her new EP, Dark Garden. We asked her the BIG questions . . .
Before taking a seven-year break from the music scene, Polly released two studio albums, Mr. Bookshop in 2011 and Probably Me in 2014. She toured Ireland and the UK extensively, including playing support for Agnes Obel, Julie Felix, Roddy Woomble and Cara Luft.
Her song Thinking About You was chosen for a Discover Ireland campaign for West Cork and she continues to write and record new music from her home on the Mizen Peninsula in Ireland.
Speaking about the release of her new tracks, Polly says, "I'm so thrilled to be sharing the full body of work I've been working on for the last year. It's been quite a challenge juggling everything after such a long time away from the music scene.

"I'm so out of practice! But I've honestly enjoyed every moment (OK not every moment) and learnt a lot of lessons.
"It's been an eye-opening, exciting, and downright beautiful thing to be reminded that I am still able to make music, people still want to hear it and the Irish music scene still thinks I'm worth supporting. So, thank you for that."
