The search is on to find the young girl who will play the lead role in Toy Show the Musical with casting applications now open on the RTÉ website.
On Friday, the producers said: "Toy Show the Musical's world-famous casting director Maureen Hughes (Once, The Butcher Boy, Love/Hate, RAW, Charlie) is looking for the lead role - a character called Nell.
"Nell is a bright and brilliant 12-year-old girl with a wonderful spirit and great singing and dancing skills.
"Auditionees should be between the ages of 11-16 with a playing age of 12-years-old.
"The application process is very straightforward. Record a short video, fill in the application form and hit 'submit'.

"In your video, we would love to see you singing a verse and chorus of a song of your choice. Can you also introduce the video by telling us a bit about yourself (include any experience you might have in singing, acting, dancing, playing an instrument) or if you have any interesting hobbies/party pieces?"
Successful applicants will be shortlisted for an in-person audition in June in Dublin. There, they will perform a monologue or short poem and be asked to sing.
