Ed Sheeran has united with Limerick rapper, singer and poet Denise Chaila for a special remix of his latest single 2Step.

Sheeran has just finished up the Irish leg of his sold-out Mathematics tour across Ireland and Chaila was one of the Irish opening acts across all dates in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Belfast.

Tweeting on Wednesday, she said, "I did a song. With Ed Sheeran. I live in a world where that's a thing I can say… hahaha what a mad secret that was to keep,"

"2step remix, Wednesday 25th of May I’ll share a presave link when I can get organised. Now is only for happiness. Thank you Ed Sheeran."

Ed is teaming-up with an array of artists from across the globe for special remix versions of 2step, tapping into his love of collaboration, which was bore fruit on his 2019's No.6 Collaborations Project featuring Eminem and Stormzy and many others.

Chaila, who was born in Zambia and moved to Ireland when she was aged three, played a sold-out headline show in London last night and recently announced a home-town show in Limerick on King John’s Castle on Saturday August 20, her largest headline show to date.
