While the family try to get their heads around the possible outcome of the vote, the friends realise they may not be ready for what the future holds.

Eintracht Frankfurt v Rangers (kick-off 8.00pm) sees an unlikely pairing that has attracted a massive movement of supporters from both clubs.

Over 100,000 fans are hoping to get to the game – but most will be disappointed. The action takes place at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Valencia, Spain, as the successors to Villarreal are crowned.

Eintracht Frankfurt fans

Frankfurt are aiming to lift their first European trophy since they won this competition under its former guise of the UEFA Cup in 1980, and they eliminated favourites Barcelona in the quarter-finals, before overcoming West Ham United in the semi-finals.

Rangers' wait to win a continental title goes back to 1972, when they claimed the now defunct European Cup Winners Cup, but their victory over German sides in the last two rounds will give them confidence.
