Status Quo Night, BBC Four
Hello Quo, 9.00pm
The night kicks off with this documentary examining Status Quo's five-decade history, including interviews with the band, concert footage and rarely seen archive material.
It also takes a look at the 2012 reunion of the original line-up, performing together for the first time in more than 30 years.
With contributions by Paul Weller, Brian May, Noddy Holder, Cliff Richard and Jeff Lynne.
That's followed at 10.20pm by Status Quo: Live and Acoustic
A compilation of footage from Status Quo's 2014 live appearance at London's Roundhouse, where they performed acoustic versions of their best-known hits.
They include Pictures of Matchstick Men, Rockin' All Over the World, Whatever You Want, What You're Proposing, Down Down, and Marguerita Time.
Playing alongside a string section, Francis Rossi (below) and Rick Parfitt reminisce about their career and recall some of the stories behind their classic songs.
Then there's TOTP2: Status Quo at 11.20pm
The night wraps up with Quo's most memorable performances on the BBC chart show, including Rockin' All Over the World, Whatever You Want, Caroline, Mystery Song, Down Down and Paper Plane.
The band first reached the charts with the psychedelic Pictures Of Matchstick Men, released in 1967, and went on to sell over 100 million records worldwide.
Their final appearance on the show was in 2005, a year before its final broadcast, with the boisterous anthem, The Party Ain't Over Yet.
Not Going Out, 9.30pm, BBC One
Here's an episode clearly influenced by the classic Hitchcock movie Rear Window.
Confined to a wheelchair, his right leg encased in plaster after knee surgery, Lee (Lee Mack, above, with co-star Sally Bretton) has too much time on his hands, which he uses to watch the world go by through a pair of high-powered binoculars.
He soon realises that all is not well in his neighbour's house opposite - in fact, he's quickly convinced that something despicable is going on.
