Offaly alternative pop/rock band The Collision have released their new single, Weightless. We asked them the BIG questions . . .
The song is from the band's upcoming debut EP, Latent Pulse, and follows previous single Lemon Bake it.
Featuring Ciaran Brennan, Diarmuid Brady, Seán Brady, Connor Rice and Callum Bergin, The Collision released their first single, Little 22, in August 2020 shortly after they formed, followed by Swing later that year.
Speaking about Weightless, the band say the song explores the excitement of standing on the precipice of love and the apprehension that stops you from falling over.
"When listening to Weightless," adds Diarmuid, "You realise that nothing else matters in the world, only love."
Tell us three things about yourself?
Ciaran, Diarmuid and Seán's grandfather, Johnny Brady, was a renowned trad composer as was Connor’s grandfather, Fred Rice. Ciaran is afraid of ketchup, Diarmuid is tall.
