In 2018 he was the Ulster Elite Enduro Champion. He rode in Italy and Austria and following a flight mishap at Whistler, British Columbia, he took to busking between rides to raise the extra cash for the journey home.
"The song is always the foundation of where I judge my success," he says.

It's a raw unfiltered emotional reaction to everyday life, it can be happy, sad, angry and it can range from rock to folk to pop

Red hot Chilli Peppers, Ben Howard, Jeff Buckley, Nothing But Thieves, Palo Nutini, Half Moon Run, Sam Fender.

It's probably one from Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, "all I ever learned from love is how to shoot somebody who outdrew you". You could take a few different meanings from it really, but I think it's such a profound line
