Dublin duo Brother Josh have released their new EP. We asked front man and guitarist Josh Bass the BIG questions . . .
The nucleus of Brother Josh is cousins Josh and Daz Bass, who have made music together since they were teenagers in both original and cover outfits.

They took advantage of lockdown and began writing new material (with a little help from friends) and recorded in a small studio in Dunboyne Co. Meath.
Tell us three things about yourself?
Well despite my self-proclaimed incredible balance, I'm prone to taking the occasional spill.
I’d love to know what it’s like to be a tree.
I seem to derive an alarming amount of pleasure from completing monotonous tasks in video games.
How would you describe your music?
Funky disco psycho pop
Who are your musical inspirations?
Dylan, The Beatles, Bowie, Tom Waits, and anybody who hula hoops.
What are you most looking forward to post-lockdown?
Work! I make my living playing cover gigs so work might be a strong word but playing gigs and dare I say even drinking some pints
What’s your favourite song right now?
Tom Waits - Burma Shave.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Disillusioned words like bullets bark
As human gods aim for their mark
Made everything from toy guns that spark
To flesh coloured Christs that glow in the dark
It's easy to see without looking too far
That not much is really sacred"
Bob Dylan - It's Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding).
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Barbie Girl by Aqua. I figure I’d be doing any song I like a disservice by subjecting it to so many listens and who knows, maybe I’m a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.
Where can people find more information about you?
