There's trauma in Carrigstown this week when Ruth disappears. As the community comes together to try to find the youngster, her father Paul makes a public appeal for Ruth to come home. Expect heart-rending scenes in the episodes ahead.

EASTENDERS
Janine tells Mick that they should have some space so she is leaving for a while. He feels like a fool when she rejects the flowers that he bought to say thanks for helping him, but she explains that they need time apart to make sure it's serious between them.
Elsewhere, Suki and Dotty find out from Kheerat's lawyer that he will plead guilty. Unhappy with his decision, Suki begs the lawyer to find another way. Dotty asks Sonia for money and uses it to ask Eve for legal advice about Kheerat's case.
Meanwhile, Stacey tries to explain to Harvey how Jean's current behaviour is evidence that she's experiencing a manic episode. Harvey later visits Aaron in prison and is shocked to see his son's bruised face.
CORONATION STREET
Lydia meets Adam for a coffee and rails at him for his treatment of her all those years ago, but when Adam suggests it's time she told Sarah the truth, Lydia is seething and realises all he cares about is himself.
In a rage, Lydia slaps Adam and gives him a huge shove. As Adam topples backwards over the railings, Lydia watches with horror.
The private investigator asks Gary some difficult questions about his dealings with Rick. When Laura stumbles out of the Rovers, Gary comes to her rescue, worried to realise she’s been drinking on top of her medication.
Later, Gary tells a worried Maria he plans to move Rick's body. The private investigator tells Laura he's had no success in tracking down Rick and that all the evidence suggests he’s dead.
EMMERDALE
Rhona and Marlon propose to one another at the same time in a moment of pure joy. Marlon heads off to find the engagement ring he left back at Smithy, but his vision suddenly becomes impaired.
He falls to the ground and realises he is suffering from a stoke. April is distraught when she finds him and calls an ambulance. Later, in the hospital, Rhona is shaky and emotional as she prepares Marlon for surgery.
Elsewhere, Charity pays a visit to Sam and Lydia who encourage her to make amends with Chas before she comes to regret it. Heeding Lydia's words, Chas joins her family in the Woolpack and Chas and Charity settle back into their old rhythm behind the bar.
