Greta Gerwig's 2019 movie adaptation of landmark American novel Little Women, Alfred Hitchcock's classic Strangers on a Train, and John Carney's musical Sing Street, which is partially set in a Dublin school, will also be available to study.
The films are available to study for students who have or will commence the Junior Cert cycle in 2021, 2022, 2023 and will sit exams in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

It's another badge of honour for beloved prison drama The Shawshank Redemption, which famously bombed at the box office on its release in 1994 despite strong reviews and seven Oscar nominations.
It has since enjoyed an afterlife, first as a VHS rental and DVD sales and more recently as one of the most popular films on streaming services.
2019's Oscar-nominated murder mystery Knives Out, Asif Kapadia's Maradona documentary, Casablanca, and Paddy Breathnach's drama Rosie also feature on the Leaving Cert curriculum.
Junior Cert students can also study 2018's Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, David Lynch's The Elephant Man, Rob Reiner's The Princess Bride and Ken Loach's Kes.
