Lionhearted Aslan star Billy McGuinness has laughed off his exit from Dancing With The Stars, saying, "I can't dance!"
The 61-year-old from Finglas (and court jester of the show) was booted off the dance floor after he and his partner Hannah Kelly (21) lost out in Sunday night’s dance-off with rugby star Jordan Conroy and Salome Chachua.

But Billy remained as Tiggerish as ever when he spoke to RTÉ Entertainment after the show.
Asked what went wrong for him and Hannah, he said, "I can’t dance! It’s a dance competition and I can’t dance!"
"Everyone knows someone has to go every week," said Hannah. "And every Sunday, we all say whatever happens happens."
Asked if he was going to write a song about his time on DWTS, Billy said, "I don’t think so, but do you know what? It’s been an incredible journey. When I got the call to do this I expected to last a week or two and here I am in week nine.

"It’s just been amazing," he added. "Like I’ve always said, I’m not a dancer but I think I’ve brought a bit of entertainment to the people watching at home, especially with what’s going on at the moment in Ukraine and after two years of lockdown.
"Myself and Hannah managed to bring a bit of light relief every Sunday.
"I always knew that if I got into the dance-off I’d be voted out by the judges anyway and so far we avoided the dance-off but tonight we didn’t and going up against someone like Jordan, I knew we were gone. It’s been fantastic. I’ve had a really great time."
He also said his exit from the show was perfect timing as Aslan are about to set off on a nationwide tour to mark their fortieth anniversary.
Dancing With The Stars continues at 6.30pm, Sunday on RTÉ One
