Maverick Sabre has been forced to pull out of his dates in Cork and Dublin after he was told by doctors to rest his voice and then tested positive for Covid-19.
The 31-year-old rapper and singer, who was born in London but grew up in New Ross, County Wexford, was due to play Cork's Cyprus Avenue on Monday night and Dublin’s Academy on Tuesday.
However, in a tweet on Saturday, he said, "I really wish we didn’t have to do this. I had been advised to rest my voice for the last couple of days, but now myself and a couple of members of the crew have tested positive for Covid are unable to travel."
