Dancing with the Stars, 6.30pm, RTÉ One

Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne present the latest round of the contest, as the remaining couples dance again and another celebrity is eliminated from the competition.

We’re up to week nine now, so it’s getting into the business end of things, with just two more shows between this one and the final on March 27.

Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Arthur Gourounlian judge the efforts and give their verdicts. Then it’s up to the public to determine who faces who in the dance-off.

Room to Improve, 9.30pm, RTÉ One

Dermot Bannon (above) heads to Blessington in Wicklow, to help Hilary and Paul Fairbrother with the massive renovation needed on Hilary's old family home, which the couple are buying from her parents Hugh and Carmel O'Neill.

Paul and Hilary want to modernise the house, which was built in the 1970s, and are also building a new home for Carmel and Hugh on the four-and-a-half acre site.

Peaky Blinders, 9.00pm, BBC One

As the final season of this violent gangster drama continues, Tommy gets involved in a power game when a Boston gangster comes to the UK.

He’s on a fact-finding mission to take the political temperature in Europe - and to find a contact who can put him in touch with Mosley's fascists.

As the various parties involved make their plans to double cross him, Tommy visits an old ally in Camden.

Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, 7.15pm, BBC Two

All roads lead Stanley Tucci to Rome to meet up with old friend Claudia della Frattina, heading to a restaurant to order rigatoni all'amatriciana, one of the famous four Roman pastas.

He also samples carbonara in the working-class neighbourhood of San Lorenzo and tries a selection of cheeses and sausages sourced from the sheep and pigs bred in the region.

Céad Seans - Na Cruacha, 10.00pm, TG4

This documentary explores the rich musical landscape of Na Cruacha, a remote valley nestled in the Blue Stack Mountains in South West Donegal.

Despite its rugged and mountainous terrain, a community of over 200 people once lived here. This community spoke only the Irish language, had no electricity or running water, and relied on their music song and dance for entertainment.

The famous collector Sean Ó hEochaidh visited Na Cruacha in 1947 to record what was left of its dying heritage. Presenter Iarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill, with the help of Ó hEochaidh's diaries uncovers what happened to Na Cruacha.

Director Philippa Lowthorpe's comedy drama, starring Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessie Buckley.

It's 1970, and Bob Hope is due to host the Miss World beauty pageant in London, one of the most watched shows in the world.

But the organisers, and the Hollywood star, do not count on the newly formed women's liberation movement, who plan to disrupt the controversial ceremony.

Gone with the Wind, 1.10pm, RTÉ One

I remember going to see this in a cinema in Melbourne many moons ago and it just blew me away. Not a second of its four hour-length is unwarranted.

If you don’t know, this is a romantic drama based on Margaret Mitchell's novel of the same name, starring Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Leslie Howard, Olivia de Havilland and Hattie McDaniel.

A resourceful plantation heiress struggles to support herself through a series of challenges during the chaos of the American Civil War and the subsequent restoration, all the while maintaining a tumultuous relationship with a roguish Southern gentleman.

Family Flick

Kung Fu Panda, 2.55pm, Channel 4

Animated comedy, with the voices of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane and Jackie Chan.

A hero is needed to defend a peaceful valley community from attack by a rampaging snow leopard.

The unlikely candidate for the job is a lazy panda, who enlists the aid of a legendary team of animal fighters and their wise master to teach him the martial arts skills he needs to fulfil his destiny.
