The multi award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's much-loved musical My Fair Lady will have its Irish premiere this autumn.

Coming direct to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from the West End, this lavish revival of Lerner and Loewe's 1956 masterwork will run from October 6-30.

Tickets from €31.00 go on sale on Friday March 11 at 9 am.

My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a "proper lady".

Based on the George Bernard Shaw play Pygmalion, the hit musical also spawned a hugely successful Hollywood movie in 1964, starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison in the pivotal roles.

With a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady boasts a fantastic score including songs such as I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, and On the Street Where You Live.

This latest production, directed by Bartlett Sher, premiered in 2018 and was the winner of the Tony Award for Best Costume Design.

It also won five Outer Critics’ Circle Awards including Best Musical Revival, the Drama League Award for Outstanding Musical Revival, and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Musical Revival and Costume Design.
