Pick of the Day
Ireland's Dirty Laundry, 9.30pm, RTÉ One
This two-part documentary looks at one of the most shameful acts in Ireland since the foundation of the state.
For seven decades, the Irish state conspired with families, parishes and religious congregations to imprison and enslave more than 10,000 Irish girls and women in the so-called Magdalene Laundries.
After decades of silence, survivors of that system now share their experiences during and since their incarceration, and reveal how they are still having to fight for the care, redress and acknowledgement that was promised to them.

It stars Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler (in her film debut), with Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez, Mike Faist, and Rita Moreno in supporting roles.
Moreno, who starred in the 1961 film adaptation, also served as an executive producer.
Here’s my review of the movie when it was first released.
Savage Rhythm, Netflix
The opposite worlds of two dancers in Colombia clash on and off the dance floor when their ambition to succeed leads them down a treacherous path.
This is – obviously – in Spanish, but its themes are universal, and dancing is good. Looks like fun.
