The relationship between Melanie and Jon is front and centre this week. When Alex decides he wants to go back to college to study sound engineering, Melanie hits out at Jon for interfering in his life. But Jon also realises that Melanie has thought about him more than she's willing to admit - what now for Mondo's plan to propose?
There's family trouble for Damien and Laura when their brother Mark returns to Carrigstown - he wants to sell the family home. Can an agreement be reached after that bombshell without the bond between them being destroyed?
Over at Paul and Orla's, there's tension about Ruth's treatment of Junior. Soon, there's a row between the adults - and things become more complicated in the days ahead.
EASTENDERS
Ben gets a shock when Kat reveals that Phil has signed the businesses over to her. Meanwhile, Jean finds Tommy skiving and when he begs Kat for some money for a school trip, she tells him no.
Things get worse for Tommy when the bullies message him demanding money by the end of the day. When Kat realises Mitch's wages have gone missing her suspicions turn to Tommy.
Elsewhere, Harvey is nervous about signing the witness statement which would help to convict Aaron. Later, Jean tells Harvey she has booked them a hotel break but he asks if they can slow things down.
CORONATION STREET
Chesney tells Gemma it's time he accepted that Linda can give Joseph a better life in Portugal. Later, Linda and Joseph head off to the airport in a taxi.
However, when Hope reveals that Joseph didn't want to go, Chesney realises he's made the worst decision of his life. Chesney and Gemma set off for the airport in pursuit of Joseph, but will they reach him in time?
Elsewhere, over dinner in the bistro, Toyah discovers an engagement ring buried in her pudding. She slips it on her finger and tells Imran she's thrilled with it.
EMMERDALE
At the prison, Charles is caught off guard when Meena admits that she killed Andrea, telling him every painful detail about the murder. The next day, Charles refuses to see her again.
She is furious, knowing that her plan to manipulate Charles has been foiled. Will Meena find a different way to get to him?
Elsewhere, Rhona knows that time is running out to tell Marlon the truth about Marcus's identity. However, things get more complicated when Marcus informs Rhona that she's been named in Pierce’s will.
