The streaming giant released the first episodes of the last season of the hit show in January and the new episodes see Ruth (Julia Garner) out for vengeance.

The dark and brooding new trailer centres on Ruth, with the teaser line "the end arrives sooner than you think" appearing on screen as she brandishes a shotgun.

"We pick up right away," showrunner Chris Mundy told TVLine. "We would be cheating everybody if we jumped past the emotional place we were in [at the end of the episode]."

Ozark stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as Marty and Wendy Byrde, a husband and wife who are forced to run a money laundering operation in the Ozarks, Missouri after a scheme for a Mexican drug cartel goes wrong.

The show has received 32 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, with Bateman winning Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series in 2019.

Garner has won two awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2019 and 2020.
