Former New York mayor and ex Trump legal representative Rudy Giuliani has slammed rapper Eminem for taking the knee during the halftime show at last Sunday's Super Bowl.
The rapper made the gesture in support of former 49ers player Colin Kaepernick, who took the knee in 2016 during the US national anthem to bring attention to racial inequality and police brutality in the US.
The former American football star’s move has become a global sign of support for anti-racist movements and divided opinion among fans and politicians, including Donald Trump.

Giuliani has now spoken out about Eminem, telling New York radio station 77WABC, "Let’s get right to Eminem taking a knee.
"Why doesn’t he go to another country? Go take a knee someplace else. You know how many cops were defending him and protecting him at that game yesterday?
"I mean, crime is way out of control in Los Angeles. He thinks that all happened because everybody loves Eminem?
"The simple reality is that the NFL has made a mockery out of law enforcement, particularly with its support for the cop-killing Black Lives Matter." he added.
Giuliani criticism follows the NFL denying reports that it attempted to stop Eminem from taking the knee during the much-praised Super Bowl half time show, which also featured Mary J Blige, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.
"We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.
