The Late Late Show, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Following her inspirational performance at the Solheim Cup in September, Irish golfer Leona Maguire joins Ryan Tubridy tonight to talk about a whirlwind couple of weeks.

Best-selling author Marian Keyes (below) will also be in studio to reflect on an incredible career where she has become a literary phenomenon over the last three decades, and will also be joined by a special audience of family and friends.

Also, global superstar Niall Horan will join Ryan from LA to pay tribute to Leona Maguire, while Eleanor McEvoy will perform the song South Anne Street from her new album Gimme Some Wine.

The League of Ireland’s back and there’s a big buzz about this season – which can only be good for Irish football.

While champions Shamrock Rovers start the defence of their title against promoted UCD at Tallaght, the big game of opening night is across the Liffey at Tolka Park.

Shelbourne host St Patrick's Athletic (Kick-off 7.45pm), with both sides under new management, with Damien Duff (below) in charge at Shels, while Tim Clancy’s the head Saint.

Peter Collins presents coverage, as newly-promoted Shelbourne face a tough test against a side that finished runners-up to Shamrock Rovers in 2021.

Match analysis comes from Stuart Byrne and Conan Byrne, with commentary by Des Curran and Kenny Cunningham.

The Graham Norton Show, 11.05pm, BBC One

Writer and performer Dawn French joins Graham to talk about her latest ventures, while Oscar-nominated Andrew Garfield talks about his role (below) in the musical drama Tick, Tick Boom!

Magic Mike star Channing Tatum discusses his canine-buddy road-trip movie Dog and top comic Rob Beckett promotes his hit podcast Parenting Hell.

Gogglebox, 9.00pm, Channel 4

The armchair critics share their opinions on what they have been watching during the week, with cameras capturing their instant reactions and the lively discussions that are prompted by the week's biggest and best shows.

QI XL, 9.00pm, BBC Two

This clever clogs panel show has been on the go for some time as this is season 20.

Sandi Toksvig (above) returns to the presenter’s chair with what’s been described as a 'well sick’ edition, joined by regular panellist Alan Davies, along with Maisie Adam, Jo Brand and Lee Mack.

New to Stream

Severance, Apple TV+

Comparisons have been made with Black Mirror, so this drama should be worth a look.

Adam Scott stars as Mark Scout, who leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure.

This is a process that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives.

The daring experiment in "work-life balance" is called into question as Mark finds himself at the centre of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work - and of himself.

The cast includes John Tuturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Amazon Prime Video

Here’s the fourth season of the popular period dramedy, starring Rachel Brosnahan and Tony Shalhoub, with two new episodes dropping every Friday for four weeks.

It's 1960 and change is in the air. Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom.

But her commitment to her craft - and the places it takes her - creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.

The edgy, uncompromising, and hilarious new season includes guest appearances from Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters and Jason Alexander.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Netflix

Elsie Fisher – who was sensational in 2018 movie Eighth Grade – stars in this reboot of the classic slasher movie.

Melody (Sarah Yarkin), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and their friends Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell Hudson), head to Harlow, Texas to start an idealistic new business venture.

But their dream soon turns into a waking nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of Leatherface, the deranged serial killer whose blood-soaked legacy continues to haunt the area’s residents.

They include Sally Hardesty (Olwen Fouéré), the sole survivor of his infamous 1973 massacre who’s hell-bent on seeking revenge.

The Forever Purge, Sky Cinema & NOW

Here’s the latest in the Purge series of horror movies.

Adela and her husband Juan live in Texas, where Juan is working as a ranch hand for the wealthy Tucker family.

Juan impresses the Tucker patriarch, Caleb, fuelling the jealous anger of Caleb’s son, Dylan.

But on the morning after The Purge, a masked gang of killers attacks the Tucker family - including Dylan’s wife and his sister.

This forces both families to band together and fight back as the country spirals into chaos and the US begins to disintegrate.
