Chloe, 9.00pm, BBC One

Yet another new drama from the Beeb, who have been churning such shows out in recent times.

This thriller, starring Erin Doherty as a woman who seeks an escape from her miserable life, is obsessively following a far more rich and successful woman on social media.

She gets the chance to live her dream by posing as her boss's wife to attend a glamorous party, where she has a one-night stand. The next day, she finds the woman she was so fascinated with is dead - and attempted to call her before she died.

Fear grips Val (Dervla Kirwan, above) as she comes to terms with the assault and tries to figure out who she can trust and how she can protect her family from danger.

Meanwhile, a question from Sgt O'Rourke highlights a suspicious vehicle, and Finn agrees to help Elaine convince Calum that her drink had been spiked the day of the crash.

New or Returning Shows

Your Garden Made Perfect, 8.00pm, BBC Two

The awesome Angela Scanlon (below) returns with the garden makeover show, beginning with Steph, who lives in St Anne's near Blackpool and needs help with her dilapidated space.

Steph's dream is to have a garden that offers her calm spaces to practice her yoga, but also one that gives here enough space to have a party.

She's chosen her lifelong friend Nicola to support her, but will it be possible to create a garden that can help kick-start the next chapter of her life?

The Curse, 10.00pm, Channel 4

This new series is a crime comedy about small-time crooks in 1980s London, starring Allan Mustafa and Emer Kenny.

A down-on-his-luck cafe owner is persuaded by his friends to take part in a robbery that turns into one of the biggest in history when they stumble on gold bullion, worth more than £30 million.

They make their escape with the loot, unaware this crime will follow them for the rest of their lives.

The Queen: 70 Glorious Years, 6.00pm, BBC One

Here’s one for all the royal family fans out there.

Celebrities share their experiences of meeting the Queen of England (above), and reflect on how much the UK has changed over the course of her 70 years on the throne.

Narrated by Julie Walters and featuring contributions from David Attenborough, Paul McCartney, Lulu, Trevor McDonald, Brian Blessed, Cameron Mackintosh, Alan Bennett, Len Goodman, Floella Benjamin, Twiggy, Cliff Richard, Alesha Dixon, Bob Geldof, Lenny Henry and Sue Johnston.

Murder in the Valleys, 9.00pm, Sky Crime

In this Danish drama, the profiler, Louise Bergstein (Natalie Madueño), is back for a new case.

When criminal profiler Louise Bergstein gets a phone call from an old family friend, she looks into a cold case involving multiple murders from years ago.

The Birthday Cake, Sky Cinema & NOW

On the tenth anniversary of his father's mysterious death, Gio (Shiloh Fernandez) brings a birthday cake prepared by his mother to a memorial celebration hosted by his uncle Angelo (Val Kilmer), a Brooklyn mafia boss.

Gio's life begins to change as he pieces together what really happened to his father all those years ago, coming face to face with a kind of violence he has been trying to avoid his whole life.

The Green Planet, 7.00pm, BBC One

The fifth and final episode offers a guide to plants that thrive in human-dominated environments, including trees that grow across canyons in India, which have developed into living bridges.

The programme examines the origins of growing crops and the ongoing influence on the world of wild plants.

It also looks at efforts to preserve species, from snipers firing pesticide bullets from helicopters to fend off invasive plants to plants being painstakingly pollinated using a paintbrush.

Family Flick

Johnny English Reborn, 5.30pm, RTÉ2

Spy comedy sequel, starring Rowan Atkinson, Gillian Anderson, Rosamund Pike and Dominic West.

The eponymous English, a bumbling secret agent, retires to a Tibetan monastery in disgrace after a mission goes wrong.

He’s eventually lured out of seclusion by the chance to redeem himself when his former bosses seek his help in foiling an attempt to assassinate the premier of China.
