Pick of the Day
Live Six Nations Rugby Union, 1.30pm, RTÉ2
This year’s Six Nations opens with Ireland v Wales (KO 2.15pm).
All the action from the opening match of this year's championship, held at Aviva Stadium.
Wales are the defending champions, having won four of their five matches last year, including a 21-16 triumph at home to Ireland.
As for the Irish, Andy Farrell's men (above, in training) will be hoping to make home advantage count here, as they did when they prevailed 24-14 here against the Welsh in 2020.
Jacqui Hurley presents, with analysis from Jamie Heaslip, Jerry Flannery, Stephen Ferris and Bernard Jackman, commentary by Hugh Cahill and Donal Lenihan, and reports by Clare MacNamara.
Then, at 4.00pm there’s Scotland v England on Virgin Media One & BBC One (KO 4.45pm), with all the action from the Calcutta Cup encounter at BT Murrayfield.

The five remaining celebrities take to the stage in the semi-final as judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan try to guess the mystery celebrities performing inside the elaborate costumes.
It's a double elimination so after the votes are counted two of the famous faces will be unmasked and sent home. Hosted by Joel Dommett.
Fleetwood Mac's Songbird: Christine McVie, 8.30pm, BBC Two
This show opens a Fleetwood Mac night on BBC Two.
While she never fronted Fleetwood Mac, preferring to align herself with `the boys" in the rhythm section, Christine McVie (below) is their most successful singer-songwriter.
After global success in the late '70s and mid-'80s Christine left the band in 1998, living in semi-retirement in Kent, only to rejoin in 2014.
Here, she finally gets to take centre stage to tell both her own story and that of Fleetwood Mac from her vantage point.
Followed at 10pm by Fleetwood Mac: The Dance, a 1997 live performance by the most successful line-up of the band - Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie.
Then at 11.45pm there’s Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop, a documentary looking back over the band's long career, from the blues outfit led by Peter Green in the 1960s, to their reincarnation in the 1970s with the line-up behind the 40-million-selling album Rumours.
Parkinson: The Interviews, 11.00pm, BBC Four
In a programme first broadcast in 1995, Michael Parkinson recalls his meetings with Hollywood star David Niven.
A natural raconteur, Niven is famed for his roles in films including A Matter of Life and Death (above), Around the World in 80 Days and The Guns of Navarone. This show features highlights from interviews recorded in 1972 and 1975.

The twice-delayed grudge match between British middleweights Chris Eubank Jr (above, with his father Chris) and Liam Williams takes place at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena.
Promised to be the biggest British fight of 2022, bad blood has been brewing between the two for some time now and the repeated delays have only exacerbated the situation.
It will be Next Gen walking into the lion’s den at The Machine’s home turf, but who will have their hand raised when the dust has settled?
Persian Lessons, 9.00pm, BBC Four
Subtitled Saturdays continue with this Holocaust drama, starring Nahuel Pérez Biscayart and Lars Eidinger, in German, French, Italian, English and Farsi.
A Jewish man in 1940s Belgium tries to avoid being sent to a concentration camp by claiming to be Persian.
His cover lands him in a dangerous situation, when he is forced to teach the Farsi language to a Nazi officer.
Since neither of them knows any Farsi, he resorts to making up his own language word by word.

Here’s a hugely enjoyable action comedy, starring Dwayne Johnson as a one-time geek who suffered constant humiliation at high school but grew up to be a lethal CIA agent.
But when he is targeted by his own organisation, he comes home for a high school reunion, where he enlists the help of a former pupil (Kevin Hart) who very quickly wonders what he has got himself into.

Animated comedy, featuring the voices of Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel and Lisa Kudrow.
