Tell us three things about yourself?

I'm a diehard Manchester United fan, I am an unglorified workaholic, and I am easily excited.

How would you describe your music?

I read somewhere once that we all smile in the same language - I like to think my music is like a smile, something that we all understand, something that’s universally experienced.

Who are your musical inspirations?

My inspirations are King Sunny Ade, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce.

What was the first gig you ever went to and the first record you ever bought/downloaded?

The first gig I ever went to was Brandy, and the first album I ever bought was Maroon 5’s Overexposed.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Heartbreak Anniversary by Giveon.

Favourite lyric of all time?

My own: "Never seen a greater miracle than myself."

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Coldplay’s Fix You.
