Dancing On Ice contestant Ben Foden is hoping that TV viewers will consider him as "not a bad guy" after his split from former wife Una Healy.

The rugby star infamously cheated on former Saturdays singer Healy in 2018 - just days after she had given birth to their second child, Tadhg.

Then in 2019 he married Jackie Belanoff-Smith after just two weeks of dating and on the very day his divorce came through.

Talking about whether he thought the public would vote for him while competing in Dancing On Ice, he told OK!: "You just don't know how you’re perceived.

"My public image, because of the past three years, has not been the best. Doing shows like this, you try to show to people at home I’m not a bad guy, everyone makes mistakes."

He added that he and Healy, with whom he also shares daughter Aoife, are now "in a good place".

Foden and Belanoff-Smith live in New York with their 18-month-old daughter Farrah, but are in the UK while he competes in Dancing On Ice.
