American actress Rooney Mara is to play Audrey Hepburn in a new movie about the Hollywood icon.
Two-time Oscar nominee Mara, who has previously starred in Mary Magdalene, The Secret Scripture and The Social Network, will star as the Breakfast at Tiffany's star My Fair Lady, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, and Funny Face actress, who won an Emmy, Oscar, Tony and a posthumous Grammy award.

Call Me By Your Name and Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino will direct the film for Apple TV, with Michael Mitnick (The Giver, The Current War) writing the script, while Mara will produce.
Mara was Oscar nominated for her roles in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Carol.
It follows news that Chris Evans will star as Gene Kelly in a new movie focusing on the Irish-American actor and dancer Gene Kelly.
Rooney Mara can be next seen in Nightmare Alley, which is in Irish cinemas on January 21.
